NUSTAR Online once again took its commitment beyond entertainment as it powered AgriRunPH: Takbo Para sa Magsasaka, its second collaboration with IRunPH, bringing together runners, families, and advocates in a shared stride of support for Benguet farmers.
Manila, Philippines – Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, partnered with Rise Against Hunger Philippines in Cebu to package 10,000 nutritious meals for underserved communities.
The volunteering activity was held during Purple Week as part of the FWS Day of Service, which honors the legacy of FedEx founder Frederick W. Smith and encourages team members to give back to the communities they serve. A total of 60 FedEx volunteers gathered to package the meals, which will provide nutritional support to approximately 166 public school students in Cordova, Cebu, for at least 120 days. Each meal bag contains rice, dehydrated soy, dehydrated vegetables or fruits, a flavoring mix, and micronutrient powder fortified with 18 essential vitamins and minerals that support children’s healthy growth, cognitive development, immune function, and overall well-being.

DAVAO CITY, Philippines, August, 2026 – STARCARES, the community impact initiative of STARTRADER, has completed the redevelopment of the basketball court at Communal Elementary School in Buhangin, Davao City, Philippines. Now open and in daily use, the facility serves approximately 20,000 people, including around 2,000 learners, 72 school staff, 1,600 parents, and 16,000 residents of Barangay Communal.
Siena College of Taytay (SCT) in Rizal province is making the school more inclusive for all students, especially those with disabilities. With SCT being a valued partner in the PLDT Group’s education initiatives, PLDT and Smart, together with ATRIEV (Adaptive Technology for Rehabilitation, Integration, and Empowerment of the Visually Impaired), hosted a disability sensitivity workshop for its teachers and support personnel.
